 Most of the remaining differences seem to originate from 

a) the dump form PG 8.4 spllitting sql commands over multiple lines while dump 
from 9.2 has it as one line

c) many, many entries in the form of

there seems to be a difference in the settings
-SET standard_conforming_strings = off;
+SET standard_conforming_strings = on;


- SET escape_string_warning = off;

where - indicated dumped from 8.4.1 on Windows and + indicated dumped from 9.2 
on Windows
