Hello Nagy Ferenc LászlóNagy,

I am very happy to hear it started up on your computer --) I should
definitely run on Windows and Linux.

>Don’t reinvent wheels

You can build a Java GUI from scratch which takes a lot of time (we don’t
have) or you can “use” a professional Java GUI and feed it with specific
gnunet information. Maybe there is a better one out of there on the
Internet, please let me known.

>I don't speak Dutch language but apparently this program has nothing to
>do with gnunet. If you just plan to port it, why do you call it 1.00
>instead of 0.01 or similar?

Thanks for your suggestion of version 0.01.

You mentioned a big designers question: A good Java GUI should have
different languages. Mine mother prefer Dutch in stead of English.

>Why do you need a decompiler? Where are the sources?

Java can be easy decompiled to sources. CMG has done it in a way that all
the sources come back. If they had done it on the hard way they translated
variables to no-meaning information. For example Row_Counter to a00323339.

>What is the license of Cdfoon?

I don’t think CMG is happy I (we) use the source code of them. If you do a
lot of improvement rounds on the code it will not look on the initial source
code of CMG.

Note: CMG has used a zip/upzip routine for the data of a German developer
without letting hem known. I mine opinion "everyone excepts ..." uses code
from someone else.

I will walk through the Java GUI:

First you get the CMG screen. In that screen should come information about
the fact that the user is responsible for possible downloading copy right
information on the gnunet.

The cdfoon has three types of sub applications:

Pink (pink square in the left): Company telephone number. In the full
version you can also query on telephone number to entry (name, town,
postalcode, etc).

White: No company telephone numbers. In the full version you can’t query on
the entry telephone number because of privacy laws.

Green: Personal address book.

Mine suggestion:

I rewrite the white part. Change in the input/search window “woonplaats” to
“keyword”.

Change in the output window :
“naam” to “filename”;
“straat” to “MD5”;
“postcode/woonplaats” to “CRC”;
“telefoonnummer” to “gnunet Hash code”.

Richard told me yesterday:
Use definitively JDBC for interfacing with MySQL. Ask Bastiaan he is more
experienced with Java.

Greetings Jan Marco
