Hello Catonano,

maybe you can get away without UPNP. While some routers have the option to assign the same IP to your PC, yours might not have that option. Alternatively you should be able to turn off DHCP and assign a IP address of your choice *on your PC*. Usually routers hold a range of IP addresses especially reserved for that purpose.

So you might want to try finding out what the address space of static IP addresses of your router is and then configure your PC to use one of these.

Maybe you know that already and it doesn’t solve your problem, but I wanted to drop a quick message in case it might help.

I'm asking this because in the router I can't find an option to give a static IP to my laptop, I must get an IP through the DHCP service

So I'd have to reconfigure the NAT punching (or port forwarding) every time I get a different IP

I'd prefer having the upnp thing going
