Maybe we shuold fix that.

Not amound time nuts!  When in doubt a lot of people use multiple GPS
so they can be compared against each other.

Also, Intel is adding PPS to their ether controllers.  Soon every one
of your ethernet cards may have a /dev/pps0.

I hate making assumptions that can fail in common configurations.  I can
see having an explicit way to force an association.
