Hi Gary,

It actually is a surprisingly small addition that consists of just adding 4 files and not actually making any changes to existing files. Android.bp is what passes for a makefile in Android/AOSP. That one file does have to go in the project's root directory, but everything else is in android/. If you prefer the directory named AOSP, then I'm ok with that, however, they have standardized the build instructions file as Android.bp, so it would probably make it a bit more obvious to keep the directory name as android.

No rush. If the patch is large, maybe a series of small patches?

I see you created an Android directory. Maybe AOSP is more exact?
Or not? A README would be good, with some basic instructions and your
contact info. Where are the makefiles? Maybe should be in the Android/
directory?
