Ah, that's a reasonable explanation, and I was assuming something like this. However, I wasn't sure which of the programs didn't support IPv6.

Glad I could help and point you in the right direction. In the past, I've run into similar problems (with other programs, though), if DNS also returned an IPv6 address, and that one even as first result.
