Can someone please test the following with AT&T troff: .ll 1p \X'foo'\%hyphenation Using GNU troff, I get - hy- phen- ation that is, `\X' starts a word so that \% afterwards no longer inhibits hyphenation but inserts a breakpoint. Werner
