Sorry about that, I had to change the way the macros did cross
referencing because of security concerns with groff. The Debian
packaging is compiled without the unsecure commands
(which is good I think) so I had to invent a new command, mmroff.
It is a perl script that does the above, using stderr
instead of temp files.
