Yes, but that's for the GNU version of mm. I don't think
the original AT&T macros had a corresponding request.
One could theoretically delve into the mm code to see how
the various parts are initialized from the registers set on
the command line, and try to recreate this in a special macro
that can be called at the beginning of the document.
But I think that's superfluous, since in my eyes the option
.nr W 6.5i
.so /usr/lib/macros/mmt
is preferable to specifying -mm on the command line anyway
(as long as you know where the macros are installed).
You might even want to keep a copy of the macros with the
document, to avoid possible surprises in case the systemwide
macros get updated and this results in different formatting.
