Then you may like to be aware there are other problems with groff's mm
macros. The one I recall is a regression where 1.17.2 worked and 1.18
didn't. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/groff/+bug/42764
(Does groff have a test suite which spots ink moving in a corpus
covering a range of decades yet?)
