IMHO there is anger toward * in Lisp/Scheme community. Common lispers
doen't seem to like schemers, schemers does seem to like Commoners;
everyone seem to despise C programmers, C++ programmers, Java
programmers and in general despise anything that isn't a functional
programming language.
I think a more constructive view of the problem should be advisable. C
and C++ have strengths and weaknesses, just like _any_ programmming
language incluing but not limited to scheme/lisp. There is no "Holy
Grial Programming Language", but many people seems to forget this.
