Operational Areas (OA) and Operational Sector (OS) are administrative
entities to represent domains of actions or responsibility in
geo-administrative sections.

The Operational Sector as the unit of the OA . The Operational Area is
made of one or more Operational sectors.

The Domiciliary Units (DU) can (and should whenever possible) be
linked to Operational Sectors.

The Health Institutions can also be linked to Operational Sectors.

Examples of Operational Areas can be provinces or cities, and
operational sectors can be districts, villages or neighborhoods.

Linking individuals, Domiciliary Units and Health
institutions is very valuable for demographics, epidemiology, emergency
scenarios, health promotion and disesase prevention campaings, etc...

This entities are very important and should be considered in any
installation.

Best,
