The following performs correctly, however I'm not used to seeing variable assignments encased in parenthesis! $ FOLDER=( ${HOME}/Books/Learning\ C/cse142/Lecture1/Files/slides/ ); for file in "${FOLDER}"/*.jpg; do echo "${file}"; done -- Roger http://rogerx.freeshell.org/
