[Help-bash] [bash] exported bash functions broken in chroot [Debian]

Hi!

I recently reported a bug against Debian's bash package:
[bash] exported bash functions broken in chroot

I spare the bug description and reproduction instructions here, because
it's hopefully well visible on the original report. [1] Hope that is okay.

Now, I am wondering if that is an issue that is known upstream at bash
or if you have any insights?
