I built openssl with:

./Configure solaris-sparcv9-gcc --prefix=/is/dist/pkg/openssl-0.9.7b

and cfengine was built with:

./configure --prefix=/is/dist/pkg/cfengine-2.0.7p3 --with-workdir=/is/local/stat
e/cfengine --with-berkeleydb=/is/dist/pkg/db-4.1.25 
--with-openssl=/is/dist/pkg/openssl-0.9.7b
