A couple folks have already pointed out RPMs..

I built it from source and found that it works just fine on RH EL 3. 
I'm using it on both the WS and ES products.

Here's my build process:

# ./configure --prefix=/opt/cfengine-2.1.3 --with-berkeleydb
--with-openssl --with-workdir=/opt/cfengine-data/var
# make
# make install
