A good first step might be to either create a "cfengine-devel" list (or, to
be really trendy, you could call it "cfengine-hackers" [*cough*]) for
discussion of features and ports and bugfixes and such (or would solutions to
bugs be discussed on the bugs list?). This might help build the development
community you are looking for.... besides, if cfengine is going to the
traditional Open Source priveleged-group-that-has-commit-access route, a
mailing list will be needed for them (unless we want to overload -help or
-bugs) anyway.
