Future versions will probably be of the form /main/laptop/nnn.

As others have pointed out, C-x v v should do it. If that is not
working submit a bug report.

By design I kept all keybindings as a subset of those for VC, so I'm
loathe to break out of that.  I guess I'll leave such customisations
up to the users.
