I see. But, gcc-3.x seems to require patched(for ISO C++?) 2.5.4a.
So, many recent distributions using gcc-3.x have to use it.
But, the problem is already fixed at 2.5.25.

If official newer release isn't planned,
Releasing maintenance version ( like 2.5.4b? ) may be desired.
