Can you please tell me if Flex is compatible with "lex -e" as flex
do not have a "-e" option.

What is `lex -e' supposed to do on Solaris?

According to the solaris man page (on docs.sun.com):

"-e Generate a program that can handle EUC characters (cannot be used with the -w option). yytext[] is of type unsigned char[]."

The URL for this manpage is:
http://docs.sun.com/db/doc/816-0210/6m6nb7md8?q=lex&a=view

Cheers,
Nicholas
