preview-latex and Carbon Emacs

Hello,

Is there anyone using preview-latex with Carbon Emacs?  I have found in the 
archive of this mailing list that the author of preview-latex said it might 
work just on x11, but I couldn't find any follow-up on this...

Related, does the current CVS Carbon Emacs support images (especially, 
png)? Does anyone know??
