text-mode-hook not running w/ bookmarks

I have this line in my ~/.emacs

(add-hook 'text-mode-hook 'turn-on-filladapt-mode)

to turn on filladapt mode when I go into text mode, but...it does not
do when for a file that I have bookmarked. That is, when I get a file
with C-x C-f, it works, but not with C-x r b. Is there another hook
variable I need to add this mode to for it to go into filladapt for
bookmarked files? Thanks.
