It only happens with tex files. I'm using YaTeX. Is this a problem with YaTeX?

I'm using Debian testing, where I used to have xemacs21-mule, but uninstalled it and installed xemacs21-nomule instead. Now, when I try to save a file, it says "No such coding system: iso-2022-jp-unix". How can I fix this?
Thanks for any help,
Sven Sandberg
