Have removed (require 'sh-script) and things still work correctly.
One problem is that the headings one can use have to start with *, **, ***.
Which screws up my scripts.
Have changed headings so I can use
## h1 Heading Level 1
## h2 Heading Level 2
## h3 Heading Level 3
Am also seeing that the different levels are not being highlighted with a
different colour.
