Sorry for my very bad english, too.

And, please cc me, i'm not in the list.

Actually i'm in the list, not neccesary send cc.

My question:

¿how i transform the above lines from pspice format to
gnucap?

.LIB library.lib
.PARAM FREQ=60.0Hz

I can't load the library where there are some subcircuits
necessary to do simulation.

Sorry about the delay in responding.

Don't worry. Sorry me too for delay in this reply.

".LIB" and ".PARAM" are PSPICE extensions, not standard SPICE.

Yes, I know, but in my university PSPICE is the "standard", and labs practice and simulations are doing with PSPICE.

I hope that it changes gradually.

They are on the to-do list.

Great!

For now, it might work to do "include library.lib", but still there may be PSPICE extensions in the file. It that doesn't work, manually extract the model you need into a separate file, then include that.

This is the solution that i could reach.

There is no easy way to do PARAM. Maybe using cpp (the C preprocessor) might help.

The last 2 years have been dead as far as new work on Gnucap is concerned. It will get better soon. I am beginning a "non-teaching term", so I have a few months to work on it almost full time.

LIB and PARAM are actually easy to do.

This sounds well, i hope that you can do it.

Talking about other thing, in that time i note that documentation is sometimes scarce.

Perhaps i would contribute with doc, actually i'm translating acs-tutorial to spanish, and i'm writing a guide for simulating with gnu/linux, talking about tools for simulation (gnucap, tclspice, ngspice...) and for others eda tools in gnu/linux (Geda suite, ksimus, etc.).

I want to write for solve PSPICE incompatibilitys and other things. My teacher is really interesting in this which is good for the use of free tools in my university.

Tell me what you think about it.

Salud y Revolución.

Lobo.
