Currently, you can just run gnunet-insert -f FILENAME description keywords and 
that's it. All you need to do then is NOT move the files, and gnunet will 
find & use them.

Nope, only gnunet-insert, gnunet-insert-multi or gnunet-gtk will do, and you 
can't give GNUnet a "share path" or something like that. At least not at the 
moment, but this may be an idea for the future.
