Well, I never tried with GTK 2.2 or lower (I'm using 2.4.10). I just
*assumed* (read: hoped) it would work with >= 2.0 but I might have been
wrong. Has anyone else used GTK 2.2 to successfully compile GNUnet 0.6.4a?

If not, I'd advise to upgrade to GTK 2.4 (or use --without-gtk and just use
GNUnet without the GUI).

You're welcome :-)
