Hi!

While I'm not 100% sure what your problem is, here are some hints.

* downloading the GNUnet hostlists using an http proxy is supported,
   the gnunetd.conf file that you have should be correct for that

*  the http transport of gnunetd, while theoretically supporting proxies,
   does not work with most proxies because most proxies do not 
   support http chunked encoding (see Mantis report #765 at
   http://www.gnunet.org/mantis/view.php?id=765

To fix #765 would probably require us to go away from the chunked encoding, 
which could be done (especially since 0.7.0) but nobody has put in the time 
yet.
