The system will probably support human's voice recognition,
You will need to implement a way of recording sound on GNU/Hurd for
that to work.
a) if it is important or not for the free software society
If it is important to you, then it is important to the free software
movement.
b) whether this idea is fashionable or not
Everything is fashionable.
c) if any similar projects have already been started
Not to my knowledge.
d) if it is possible to implement the system without problems such:
1. Hardware secrecy.
2. Software patents.
3. Non-free libraries.
etc.
1 and 3 are easy to avoid, 2 is not. All of them are unacceptable.
e) if the community will support us in case we start designing and
implemening it
Only way to know is to implement it.
f) if the GNU/Hurd is the right operating system to use (it is
still unstable...)
If you consider it right, then it is right.
