The problem is that you're using the gnumach-1.3 tarball, I guess.
For now, please use the gnumach-1-branch from CVS, like this:
#v+
$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.savannah.gnu.org:/cvsroot/hurd co -r
gnumach-1-branch gnumach
#v-
You were right about me using gnumach-1.3 tarball.
However, i am forced to use cvs from window$ because debian does not detect my
notebook's built-in modem.
The problem is that downloading aborts when cvs tries to create a dir named
'gnumach/i386/aux'. This happens because 'aux' is a reserved word in window$ and
therefore a directory is not allowed to have a name like this.
How can i filter out this directory? I have read the cvs manual, but the
checkout command allows no filtering. I have tried pruning the dir (-P option)
but that does not work either. I am a cvs newbie so i would appreciate any help!
