Ok, now i got it.

I built gnumach in a separate directory but i still have the same problem. Make 
ends like this:

make[1]: *** No rule to make target `boothdr.o', needed by `sysdep.a'.  Stop.
make: *** [i386/sysdep.a] Error 2

What can be going wrong?
