I think we actually nuked NORMA support from GNU Mach... Or at least we
discussed that.

Doing network-transparent IPC at the microkernel level is probably not a
good idea. In fact it's responsible for some of the problems where are
experiencing with Mach: including the overly complicated ICP path; as
well as drivers running in the kernel.

A way to make RPCs network-transparent above the microkernel layer could
be interesting though :-)
