Thanks, that seems to show that the segfault is indeed somehow related
to the database package. But this is very weird. pq_interface.oct is a
collection of functions, but is not supposed to be called directly as
'pq_interface', since it does not contain a function with this
name. At my system, even if current directory contains
pq_interface.oct:

which is the normal thing to happen. I can't imagine why at your
system pq_interface seems to be tryed to be run in this case ... have
you got an authentic copy of the database-2.0.0 package?
