I initially posted my quesion
[url=http://forexforums.dailyfx.com/forexconnect/601683-daily-ohlc.html#post1534287]
here [\url] asking :
"I am wanting to download daily symbol data for about 30 pairs in a batch
process. Is ForexConnect something that I could use or interface with
Matlab/Octave scripts?"
One of the members responded:
"You can work with Matlab through ForeXConnect from any language to which
Matlab api exists. Here is an article how to work with
C++:http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/...LAB-Engine-API
I hope that will help!"
Having never used APIs, I am lost and not really sure where to begin except
with the basics and build on that. So, that's why I posed the question
about a good starting place with Octave APIs. Not to do the work, just
point me in the general direction. I have found a couple of academic papers
which I've started to read.
Thanks,
Rich
