what I meant not lined correctly is that the line which show the variation of variable is not consistent with real data in file. It can easily  be understood just by comparing the two PDF files.  

Regarding to stretch the plot in the full page, the 3.4.3 version is doing it correctly rather in 3.6.2 one.

There have been enough changes/fixes/etc in the code that it's not terribly surprising the plotting is not quite right between the versions. It may be more helpful if we could (a) see an example of your desired output, and (b) see some of the code you're using to generate those plots. We may be able to provide a simple fix to getting you what you want in the latest version. From the PDF you attached, it's hard to interpret what you mean by 'not line up correctly', and how you wanted it scaled/stretched for a full page(?) output.

(last, minor point: for most of the people reading this mailing list it's easier to follow the conversation if you post your replies at the end of the conversation (bottom-post) instead of at the top like most of us do for regular email (top posting) )

Ok, may a silly point is that the title of the one output filename says temperature but is showing power, and the other says power. I see that both types of data are handled differently in the dplot.m file, including some axis commands depending on smpday, but I'm not quite sure what effect that might have. Are these both the same type of data being fed into the script?

Maybe more to the point noting the very different print styles: Jordi, at which version did Octave switch default graphics_toolkit to fltk?  

Dashamir, assuming things work now, I guess all is well with you running 3.4.3. if you find any other compelling need to go back to the current version, you could try executing a  

graphics_toolkit("gnuplot")  

command. maybe the problem is just the way fltk is generating your plots.
