It is not like the code is being written from scratch. The matlab version has
been running for several years. So the porting is just copy paste for most of
it.
The parameters of the 8510 are correct, 801 points, 65kb buffer, 100 seconds
timeout.
The 1M or more refers to the newer Anritsu vna . It can give like 15 times more
points than the old 8510.
Right now the only bottleneck is the gpib_read..
I am puzzled too about only half of the data being returned.
