Kai,
I tried ode23s. Thank you for your help.
First, it is mentioned in the manual 0.6.0 but only in a performance matrix.
No prototype is mentioned. I am running 0.8.2, but when I call it to run I
get this error,
warning: Octave provides lsode for solving differential equations. For more
information try `help lsode'. Matlab-compatible ODE functions are
provided by the odepkg package. See `http://octave.sf.net/odepkg/'.
Please read `http://www.octave.org/missing.html' to learn how you can
contribute missing functionality.
error: `ode23s' undefined near line ...
In other words, ode23s is not available to me.
Although setting the derivatives to zero is a trivial solution, it
demonstrates clearly the bug I wish to illustrate. I am not interested in
solving this trivial equation, merely pointing out that I found a bug.
Maybe this is the wrong forum? Is there an odepkg forum? Please let me
know.
Thanks to all for the help.
