Michael Got the zip files with the missing files. copied them to the octave include folder. nmake runs to completion and creates the octave-qt.exe. There were several warnings related to -isystem not recognized and unrecognized source file type object file assumed I guessed that octave-qt.exe should be in the octave bin folder. I thought running octave-qt would launch Octave with qt support but I get an error vc100-liboctinterp-1.dll is missing Take Care Ian -- View this message in context: http://octave.1599824.n4.nabble.com/Developing-a-simple-UI-in-Octave-tp4657279p4657324.html Sent from the Octave - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
