The documentation is indeed sparse. I only found the authors homepage, but
with no further information

You can try to get familiar with the source code

pkg load nan
edit train_sc

and run a small example in debug mode step-by-step. Maybe you can try to
contact the package author, if he doesn't respond to this mailing list in
the next days.
