Saving plots in formats other than .ofig with gui-octave (4.4.1) on Mac OS X (High Sierra)

Hello,

I am trying to save plots made with gui-octave (4.4.1) in formats other than .ofig on Mac OS X - High Sierra. I successfully did this with eps format, but all other formats generate an error, which is:

GenericResourceDir value does not end with directory separator.

While reading gs_res.ps:

Error: /configurationerror in GenericResourceDir
