And yes, definitely in the future the original code will be executed in a cluster. That was going to be my next question once I would have learnt how to do it locally :) so, any suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanks. In your readme, can you indicate how you typically execute your code, version of Octave tested with, and any Octave packages that are needed.
