Hi everybody

I have down-loaded octave 5.2.0_1-w64-installer.exe package und installed it under Windows 10 on my computer

I have created with the notepad++ editor a test script called “ami.m” When I try to run this file from the command-line I get the following error message:

“parse error near line 1 of file C:\Users\Martin Schatzmayr\ami.m

syntax error

%ƒ~?°‚ñ “

Can anybody tell me what is wrong ? – Thanks upfront for any advice !!
