Oh autoreconf is not a shell script! :-)

That would be instead of this:

>>  LIBTOOLIZE=: autoreconf -vi

LIBTOOLIZE=`which true` autoreconf -vi

Remember to eliminate all files already generated by previous runs,
e.g. with "git reset --hard HEAD".
