Have you tried @verb?
I've tried @verb and all manner of variations. Finally, I dropped
the square brackets. The problem did *not* go away. It's the colons!!!
Since it is only for the .dvi output (the rest work fine), perhaps
there is some DVI-only incantation that will let this work?
