In practice it certainly seems like that was the case. I have no idea
what the problem can have been though. I've been doing automated `bzr
pull' and build once a day for years and never seen similar problems.
Nor do I remember anyone else reporting such a problem with bzr Emacs.
Oh well, it's working now, that's the main thing!


BTW, the i686-cygwin build is still failing to due a long-standing
cached failure of a dependency, GNU make. Is there any way to delete the
cache so it tries a rebuild of GNU make? I imagine it was a transient
problem, but if not at least we might be able to get a log showing the
real issue.
