Hello Giorgio,
perfect, just swap step 2 and 3, so the best way is:
1. Fix the outstanding bugs ASAP (within this week)
2. Push the 0.19 commits and create the release builds using
https://pagure.io/JShelter/webextension/c/30aac1f497eb40337c593f98b4d5a57ae97a3fd6?branch=main
as a template
3. Tag the HEAD of mv3 as the 0.19 release, like in
https://pagure.io/JShelter/webextension/releases
4. Publish the 0.19 release on Chome and Mozilla stores.

What needs to be done to really work (some explanation behind the developer

What does not work
What might work in the future if Google implements the APIs
