Opac sometimes has a to small box for longer sentences. For
instance «my personal details» If we wrote "Min personinformasjon"
the word would be cut of at the end. It would only fit when my
cutted the «my» at the start (which we did overall because we found
it to be just annoying and of no real use). /cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl

The problem here is long word, wich in some languages is made by just joning other words into one, like "Alfabetiseringsrutine" (Filing Routine) and "Normaliseringsregel" (Normalization rule). Those also did not fit in their boxes :-/ I think such words should be permitted by accepting longer words without cutting them of and thus giving better possibilities for the translators to make it right.
(I can't remember where we found those strings in the GUI).

Another problem we found was:

The string:
Browse by last name: <a1>A</a> <a2>B</a> <a3>C</a> <a4>D</a> <a5>E</a>
<a6>F</a> <a7>G</a> <a8>H</a> <a9>I</a> <a10>J</a> <a11>K</a> <a12>L</a>
<a13>M</a> <a14>N</a> <a15>O</a> <a16>P</a> <a17>Q</a> <a18>R</a>
<a19>S</a> <a20>T</a> <a21>U</a> <a22>V</a> <a23>W</a> <a24>X</a>
<a25>Y</a> <a26>Z</a>

can not be translated properly because we are not allowed to add more
letters, thus our Norwegian letters Æ, Ø, and Å can only be fit in by
joining more than one letter somewhere, for instance by writing:

<a2>B--C</a> instead of separating those two, and thus having one ax
free. But I consider that a bad work around and not a fix :-(

Best regards
