Why not?  You can use the Net::Z3950 module to search in Zebra.


Yes, but I mean internal koha search. when you are in catalogue module, for example, and want to edit "the two towers" books, you 1st need to search it. and without #5, you won't be able to search anymore.


But with Zebra, the internal search *is* a Z39.50 search. Searching using the up-and-coming Perl/ZOOM API won't be significantly different from searching using Net::Z3950.

of course, but in 2.2, the internal search is NOT a z3950, it's a select * from mysql_table where ...blabla...

that uses the tables we will drop because (or thanks) to zebra

so, no more search available ;-)
