I have tried it out,
you can open the svg test suite here:
http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/WG/wiki/Test_Suite_Overview#SVG_1.1_Test_Suite

with inkscape you can save to dxf,

then we can use some windows program to convert that into all the dwg formats 
and then we have a nice test suite.
