Hi Stephen,

Technically this is probably the easiest first step and my libre 
software instinct too is that netfiling/efiling should be completely 
modular like this. However the CRA has tightly coupled the tax 
calculations and the netfiling/efiling. Also if we offer this as a 
service, we would likely become an EFILE tax preparer in the CRA's eyes 
with a long list of responsibilities listed in RC4018 The Electronic 
filers manual Chapter 1 Preparer Responsibilities starting with: Form 
T183 is to be completed and signed by the client prior to the 
transmission of an EFILE return.
